BankChain Alliance gives banks of all sizes a shared path to modern payments, tokenized deposits, stablecoins, automated settlement, and other emerging capabilities, while preserving the regulatory standards, security, and customer trust that define the banking industry.
Formed by state bankers associations representing thousands of financial institutions nationwide, the alliance is creating an industry-owned, industry-designed, and industry-governed blockchain network. Inaugural membership is now open to U.S. banks.

What membership includes
- Inaugural members are eligible to nominate candidates for the Board of Directors and receive first consideration for committee participation, subject to qualifications and time commitments.
- Member banks may nominate officials for openings on the product and technology, standards oversight, and membership and allocations councils and working groups.
- Help shape the alliance's offerings, product roadmap, and day-one use case prioritization.
